Market

North America greatly lags behind Europe and other continents in the implementation of manure-to-energy systems. STEWARDSMITH® intends to define and dominate this rapidly emerging United States market that is being driven mainly by increasingly stringent farm environmental regulations along with increasing demand for renewable energy production and organic soil amendment substitutes.

Although several dozen anaerobic digesters have been successfully installed on US farms (and virtually every municipal waste water treatment plant utilizes similar technologies), no business entity to date has stepped up to take responsibility for, and benefit from, the total array of environmental and energy benefits of these relatively low-tech systems.

Therein lies STEWARDSMITH’s core strategy: to capitalize on this emerging need in Western society, and translate the same technologies to even larger Asian and Global markets.

The USDA Agricultural Statistical Data Base indicates that there are approximately 1,250 dairies west of the Mississippi River alone with cow populations in the 2,000-6,000 head range that STEWARDSMITH® is targeting.

If STEWARDSMITH® is only able to implement agreements at 25% of suitable western dairies, the franchise model would be duplicated at over 300 sites, approximately $1 Billion in an initially identified and practically untapped market.
